Privateer Leather - Premium Handmade Leather Holsters

Terms of use: Firearms are inherently dangerous tools, and the end user assumes all risks and responsibilities that go hand-in-hand with carrying a firearm. It is your responsibility to get trained in the safe and proper use of your firearm. Firearms should always be treated as if they were loaded. When practicing presentation from a holster, make certain that the firearm is unloaded. Using a firearm in a holster it wasn't designed to fit can be a safety concern. By purchasing or using my products, you agree to the terms of use, and agree that I am not liable or responsible for any damages resulting from their use.

Leather is an organic substance, and is therefore somewhat unpredictable. After all, cows are unique creatures too. Part of what makes leather so beautiful is its random grain, and although I try to avoid any scars or marks, sometimes those marks don't really show through until after the piece is shaped and molded. I use the highest-grade leather available, so marks are less common, but still may crop up from time to time.

Magazine & Ammunition Carriers

Belt loops/slots are made for 1-1/2" belts by default, but I can accommodate other belt sizes. Just let me know which size you need.

All products are available in the colors shown below.

Top row, L to R: Black, Russet Brown, Saddle Tan, Walnut, and Suntan.

Bottom Row, L to R: Cordovan, Royal Blue, Purple, Pink, and Natural.

Please note: snap-on magazine carriers are not available to fit 1-3/4" belts.

Please note: By default, all magazine carriers are designed to carry magazines in a bullets-forward orientation. If you need something different than that, please contact me.

Barnacle
Single-stack mags $55, Double-stack mags $75

The Barnacle is an Inside-the-Waistband magazine carrier. It attaches to the belt with a single belt loop, which fastens with a Pull The Dot one-way snap.

The magazine is held at a forward cant to prevent the magazine from "printing" through clothing while bending over or sitting.

For double-stack magazines, an additional piece of thick leather is sewn to the inside of the carrier, which reduces the sharp angles against the body, and aids comfort considerably.

The Barnacle has three different body shield options:

  1. No body shield.

  2. Half body shield: This covers the sharp rear edge of the magazine baseplate, but still allows for a speedy reload.

  3. Full body shield: This covers the entire magazine.

Anemone - $45

The Anemone is a simple magazine carrier with a sewn belt loop. These are great for range use, but can still be concealed.

Limpet - $50

The Limpet and Double Limpet can be made three different ways:

  1. Without a body shield (left). There is slight raised edge on the inner layer to ease re-inserting the magazine.

  2. With a half body shield (center). This covers the rear edges of magazines with sharp baseplates, but still allows a speedy reload.

  3. With a full body shield (right). This covers the entire magazine.

Urchin - $50
Double Urchin - $75

The Urchin and Double Urchin are pancake-style single magazine carriers that hold the magazines vertically.
