The Explorer is a high-riding Avenger-style holster with a reinforced mouth and body shield.
This model rides even higher than the Raider for greater concealment.. (The Explorer has the same ride height as the Navigant.)
Please note that this model, like the Navigant, is not available for all firearms -- small firearms don't have enough slide length to be stable at this ride height. Please inquire to see if this holster will work with your firearm.

This model will work with most optics. Please let me know what optic you're using, so that I can verify compatibility.
NOTE: To ensure stability, it is recommended that you use a heavy-duty gun belt with this holster.
Avenger-style holsters are a favorite for range use. They are generally not as stable or concealable as pancake-style holsters, but they are more compact in design, and they take up less space on the belt.
OWB holsters have the slots cut for 1-1/2" belts by default, but most models can accommodate other belt sizes. Just let me know which size you need. (NOTE: some holsters for very small guns can not accommodate 1-3/4" belt slots.)
